چکیده
The effect of acidic hydrolysis duration on nanocellulose size, morphology, and proper ties was investigated, which opens up a whole new horizon versatility in poplar applications. This study aimed to examine Spanish wastes as raw material extract crystalline (CNC), substantiates the importance wastes. Wastes were pulped using 1 L 10% NaOH (wt./wt.) solution, bleached several times by NaClO2; afterwards, white subjected 60% H2SO4 for either 5, 10, or 15 min. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) underwent similar protocol control. TEM, IR, XRD characterization techniques performed. Poplar based sized 219 nm length 69 width after min hydrolysis. Conversion of Lignocellulosic Biomass to Nanocellulose: Structure and Chemical Process
Lignocellulosic biomass is a complex biopolymer that is primary composed of cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. The presence of cellulose in biomass is able to depolymerise into nanodimension biomaterial, with exceptional mechanical properties for biocomposites, pharmaceutical carriers, and electronic substrate's application. However, the entangled biomass ultrastructure consists of inherent ...

Hydrothermal synthesis of nickel-chitosan hybrid has been accomplished using Ni(CH3COO)2,4H2O, chitosan and water as starting material, template and solvent respectively, followed by calcination at 800 and 900˚C to provide nanoporous NiO800 and NiO900. The solid products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Four...

Herein 2,3-dialdehyde cellulose beads prepared from Cladophora green algae nanocellulose were sulfonated and characterized by FTIR, conductometric titration, elemental analysis, SEM, f-potential, nitrogen adsorption–desorption and laser diffraction, aiming for its application as a potential immunosorbent material. Porous beads were prepared at mild reaction conditions in water and were chemical...
متن کاملAn In-Depth Understanding of Biomass Recalcitrance Using Natural Poplar Variants as the Feedstock.
In an effort to better understand the biomass recalcitrance, six natural poplar variants were selected as feedstocks based on previous sugar release analysis. Compositional analysis and physicochemical characterizations of these poplars were performed and the correlations between these physicochemical properties and enzymatic hydrolysis yield were investigated. Gel permeation chromatography (GP...
